Biography
Craig Miller
Like many before him and many after, Craig came to Lake Tahoe for the winter (skiing) and stayed for the summer (water skiing, boating, hiking, mountain biking, sailing, aviation... and career opportunity). After several years in the construction trades, Craig gravitated towards real estate brokerage, and the rest is history. With several partners he owned and managed his own boutique brokerage with a focus upon lakefront property, eventually purchasing his own lakefront in Dollar Point to “live the dream”. His affinity to water led him to the eventual position of Commodore of the Tahoe Yacht Club and an active member of the Tahoe Lakefront Owner’s Association and the Tahoe Maritime Museum. An industry veteran who after decades still enjoys his work, the people, the properties, and the process, four years ago Craig jumped at the opportunity to partner with Katherina in order to take his career to the next level. With the partnership, the power of 2 squared, we are able to compete and prevail in the market place, delivering outstanding results for our clients as we leverage the use of new technologies while maintaining the personal connections that make our business fulfilling.
Katherina haug
Katherina Haug, born in Germany and raised in Sonoma County, CA is a funky-fresh combo of millennial tech and old-world farm-girl. Katherina (aka “Kat”) works hard, works fast, and always has a zest in her step. “It’s like taking a shot of espresso when you talk to her. She’s on it, and shares her energy to the max.” Kat is poised, tenacious and committed to representing herself, and her clients to the highest degree of professionalism. Kat, a proud UC Berkeley alumni, moved to Lake Tahoe in 2012 to build a life founded on her love for the mountains and the Lake. With a background in sales & marketing, an English and American Literature Major, and having always assumed she’d eventually become an Attorney, she combined all her life paths into one and launched her career in real estate in 2014. When she and Craig began their partnership in 2017, it was to join her digital (millennial) world, with Craig’s decades of history and experience in the Lake Tahoe lakefront market; little did they know how well they would work as a team, leaning against each other to assist their clients 200% with one goal in mind: Do it once and do it well. There is no room for error in this business, and they do it with grace and skill, and have fun together doing it. If she’s not at her laptop working on an offer, touring property with a client, or prepping a listing for market, Kat is most likely (still plugging away on her phone) snow skiing, wake-surfing, out on a walk, sailing, cooking, hosting a dinner party, or otherwise enjoying all of life’s incredible wonders. Life is short, make it count!
Katherina is currently serving on the Board of the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors, and ranked as a Top Producing Agent with Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty. Katherina is a Certified Trust and Probate Specialist, and both Katherina and Craig have focused their professional specialty to littoral properties on Lake Tahoe with its myriad of nuances in land use and littoral entitlements.
